About the Doctor

Dr. Muhibullah Ahmadzai was born in 1988 in Kabul. He completed his primary and secondary education in Kabul and enrolled in the Medical Faculty of Shaikh Zayed University in 2006. He graduated with an MD degree in 2013 and subsequently gained two years of experience in the general internal medicine department. After successfully passing his specialization exam, he joined the cardiology specialization program at the French Medical Institute for Mothers and Children (FMIC), under the supervision of the Afghan Ministry of Public Health and the Aga Khan University in Karachi, Pakistan. During this period, he completed various cardiology training programs at the Aga Khan University. In 2017, to gain further experience in interventional cardiovascular procedures, he began a fellowship at the Training Academy for Cardiovascular Interventions in Hyderabad, India. He received his diploma as a cardiologist in 2018 and has been working at FMIC as a cardiologist (angiography and angioplasty) since that same year. He was commended by the Afghan Parliament in 2021 and was appointed as a training instructor for the cardiology specialization department in 2026. Furthermore, he has published various scientific articles and participated in national and international cardiology conferences.
